meet Aja
Aja has served as a teacher of the gospel since 2009, serving as a Youth Director for Faith Inspirational M.B.C under Pastors Rafer and Natalie Owens. The youth ministry was marked by the tangible presence of God with youth leading in worship, fasting, prayer and repentance cultivating the power of God in their lives.
Aja was later ordained as a minister in 2014 while serving God in government as Mayor of Compton. Through Aja's obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ, miracles, signs and wonders transpired in the city, which spread nationwide and throughout the world.
After concluding her service in government, the Lord gave Aja the directive to launch a fellowship in her home that began over three years ago, called ENCOUNTER.
What began as a simple act of faith, opening her home for believers to gather in prayer, worship, and discipleship, has grown into a community marked by the glory of God, fruitful, anchored on the truth of God's Word.
EQUIPPED is the digital expression of ENCOUNTER discipleship, offering topical series that are timely, foundational and essential for growing in authority and deploying God's power to live a life of impact, building God's Kingdom in the earth.
The Lord has honored her service through transformed lives, abundant fruit, answered prayers, signs, wonders, miracles, and a deep unfolding of the Great Commission.
